chapter.two: g o d s _ or_frauds?

somewhere else
another world perhaps?
doesn't matter though, it's already succumbing to eternity.
in the end 'eternity' does in fact come off as hyperbole. trust me,
it's the least unusual thing you'll read.

buildings crumble under pure nothingness
that begins to eat away at the— everything. ravines open;
through the earth’s belly as the noise of breathing of two who are living
becomes the only sound that soothes the mind of the pure horror that this
contorting world is becoming. "end of the line, huh?" the one with long hair
questions the other; who then replies "quite literally, am I right?"
he responds, looking up to the breaking skies. "now this is some real shit..."
he says. "believe me, I'm used to living with ya', you know?" he adds—
subtly chuckling while the female one gives him an annoyed look.

'life is quite strange isn't it?
one second you're ...living peacefully (peacefully is subjective)'
the other one thinks, closing eyes 'then you're in freefall—' but she catches him
"sister, you do know" he speaks with a smug face "I'm heavier than you?"
she doesn't listen, yet time doesn't stop either and all things come
to an end eternal. 'us too'

'air in my face. terminal velocity getting terminally, terminal'
eyes go dry till the concept of water stops existing and their minds fade away
because immortality starts to settle, hair floating through ozone, fluttering.
one descending while one ascends, downwards. "sistuh', do me a favour
and don't die!" he tells her as the dream ends, shattering into a swirling mass
below them, slowly spiralling like a thousand galaxies crushed to a point of—
absolute singularity, imploding outwards and then beating like the heartbeat
that has planned their demiseful destiny.

' t h i n e p l a n '

"i sure as hell won't! brother" she yells. before disappearing into oblivion
'...what?' he scrambles to find reasoning. 'I'm still alive, but where am I though?'
darting his eyes around to read the room, as if this is a room to begin with.
it's somewhere else; 'other than home' then appears the ground, and...
'chairs and a table?' as all that velocity comes to minus zero
hitting the table, the table that refuses to budge. 'aaagh!...?'

"i think I broke a limb or two" he says, getting up, failing to die,
looking at his hands that tremble beneath that void of no name.
'how, what, and why.' he thinks as the absurdity baffles him.
until the situation’s memories fade away till he is no longer able to.
and then he bends to the table, curiously poking it, just to realise "it's glued to—
the ground" sighing as he notices the covered plate '...my curious ass' opening
the plate’s cover to reveal another cover; one with a note attached
"wha..." 'i take off the sticky note to investigate'

starving? open the plate. it has slight questionable (still edible)
food, don't worry there's definitely no drugs* (except a s p e c i a l
s o m e o n e * ) bon-appetite!, creator~ (that's your s p e c i a l lil' name now :)))
—Fate

"fate?"

"well..." crunch biting into the pulsating thing 'tastes like gmello, but light flavor'
"hmmm, that wasn't" wiping his mouth "so ba—" a jolt hits his body like some
thunder concentrated, focused on his eyes and mind, a tight knot forms around
his throat as he swallows on spit his brain going hazy with mist barely keeping
up "a-alrihi ...dat aws dwefightly durge—" only to collapse on the chair right
next to him. as in the distance he sees something... spiralling to the sky

chapter.three: creation's_creations

"aaand— that's how I got here" creator elaborates, leaning on a chair. Right in front sits someone. The light is dim, and the location? Unknown, to you. "you gonna say somethin'?" he narrows his eyes at the figure, turning back in his seat, his head illuminating the spire more and more.

"fate," he—Fate—talks, smirking. "is what you'll call me." Fate stands up suddenly. "hello, ....protagonists! remember the weird gmello tasting thing you both ate?"

'both?, he points to me... and behind?' creator sniffles as he looks to the side,
eyes widening. "sistuh'?" Creatia stands there. "wait br—" fate interrupts the reunion. "wai—wait, I'm supposed to be the introductory guy." He fixes his slanted bowtie while both siblings share looks of confusion (which seems to be the default). "creatia," fate leans on both of them before beginning, "meet creator." "and both of you..." he points to none but himself. "meet'cha mentor~" "huh." Fate befuddles himself as his so-called protagonists pay him no attention.

"hey! stop touching random stuff," he yells as they look around. "alright, confused's an understatement," creator sighs. "ummm... hi?" creatia softly asks. "uh... hello. long time no seen," creator responds awkwardly. "I know right? been a hot second since we..." she twirls her hair. "died," creator adds, deadpan. "wierd," he mutters, still scanning the room.

A framed painting stops him. He stares. Too long. Creatia is busy questioning the—mentor guy—as creator approaches the freehanded piece. Curiosity wins. A peculiar s p e c i a l signature. "its signed?" Despite the strange writing, he can read it. ' g o d e - ' The atmosphere densens. The hinges scream open as the portrait falls. A shadow clashes with it—its existence deflected—yet it keeps falling. Through. Through his hand. Eyes that didn’t know how to see;
learn how to widen.

"what t-the actual censored fug?!" creator shouts. The tower answers. creek A bookshelf filled with tables tips, descending slowly. Creator freezes. It stops inches from his face. "not like you can," fate says from behind, holding it with his elbow, "but you are not supposed to die... yet." He kicks it back. Something trips off the table. It lands in creator’s lap. (what the—) he flinches "quite the
s p e c i a l journal you've found," fate says.

The tower grows quiet. Too quiet. The walls feel liminal—watching. Lively. "a book?" creatia peaks over creators shoulder "...is it though?" he asks as he opens the dusty tome "there's text inside?" creator says flipping through the first page.
'i know stupid' creatia thinks, curiously as fate in the background observes their
shananigagens "a poem to be specific" they read it aloud.
